Privacy Policy

In light of the recent happenings with GDPR and the way we use people’s online data, I felt it necessary to write my own Privacy Policy.  In it I explain how I obtain data, what data I keep, how I keep it, what I do with this data and why I do it.

It goes without saying (although I’m now saying it…) I respect your privacy and have no interest in passing your information on to any 3rd parties and I wish to be 100% transparent in this regard.

Your information is important to me as you are either a regular client, a past client and/or a potential client of the future and I don’t want to share you with anyone!  I wish to keep you updated with recent work and will probably send you some festive cheer over the holiday period.  I retain all information on people I have worked with, on any of the projects I have contributed to from our email conversations.  I have also historically sourced names, email addresses and where possible telephone numbers – all from the public domain- of individuals who will at some point need to commission or recommend a photographer, with my skill set as part of their job description.

My twice yearly mail outs “New Work & updated website” is part of a marketing strategy and are to inform you of my recent activity and I hope act’s as a resource for such people to call upon me as and when they require my services.

If for whatever reason you do not wish to receive further mail-outs from Matt Frost Ltd, (no more than 3 in the calendar year) you have the ability to opt out simply by clicking on a link at the bottom of the emails.  Every email I send has this opt out function.  Once unsubscribed, I will never email you again!  I use a 3rd party company for my mail-outs called Mailchimp.   All collated information is stored on my hard drive as back-up and edited on my Mailchimp account.  This way I can keep track of who has unsubscribed. Their privacy Policy can be seen here (Privacy Policy).

I also use Google Analytics. Google Analytics generates statistical and other information by using cookies on users’ computers. This information helps create usage reports. Google stores this information. Google’s privacy policy is available here (https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/).  This information is not shared by me.  This website does include links to third-party websites- namely social media. Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. I do not control these third-party websites and are not responsible for their privacy statements. When you leave my website, I encourage you to read the privacy notice of every website you visit.

If you have any questions about this privacy notice, including any requests to exercise your legal rights, please contact me, who is the data controller for Matt Frost Ltd via my email:  [email protected]
